Chapter 01 · The maker
Orea — a flat-bed brewer made for everyone.
Orea is the brainchild of British engineer James Gray, who set out to design a brewer that took the technique tax out of pour-over without compromising the cup.The answer was a wide, flat brew bed with a precise wave-shaped filter — even saturation, even extraction, even cup. It's why competitive baristas swear by it, and why most beginners we hand it to start brewing better coffee within a week.

Why we love it
Forgiving by design.
The flat bed and wave-shaped filter mean your pour technique matters less. Less channeling, less mid-brew correction, more focus on the recipe and the coffee itself. The Raw finish is unfussy and built to outlast you.
Chapter 02 · How to brew with it
Brew it like a pro, with no technique tax.
Use Orea Wave filters (sold separately or as a bundle). Dose at 1:16, bloom 45 seconds, then a single steady pour or two-stage pour to reach total weight. Total brew time around 3:00. Easy.
