Chapter 01 · The Producer

A Castillo decaf from Jairo Arcila, one of Colombia's finest.

Jairo Arcila is one of Colombia's most celebrated producers — a name trusted by anyone who chases clean, expressive coffees and carefully-built processing. From the hills of Quindío, Jairo and his family treat every lot like a craft, and the cup is the proof. For our very first decaf we wanted his hands on it. This Castillo is processed as a Natural to build deep, syrupy fruit, then gently decaffeinated so the character survives the caffeine leaving. The result keeps everything we love — orange, guava, a little spice — with none of the buzz. Cofinet, our import partner, work directly with Jairo to bring lots like this to NZ, traceable from farm to cup.

In the cup

Sweet orange and guava up front, a soft chai warmth behind. Clean, round and easy — you'd never call it a decaf.

II · In the Cup

Juicy orange, ripe guava, a whisper of chai spice.

First sip is all juicy orange and ripe guava — bright, sweet, properly fruity. A gentle chai-spice warmth rolls in behind, and it finishes clean and round. Full flavour, zero compromise: the decaf we're finally proud to pour, any hour of the day.
