Chapter 01 · The Producer
Two co-ferments from one producer.
Jairo Arcila is one of Colombia's most-loved producers — a fixture of the Quindío scene, the green mountainous heart of the country's coffee zone. He and his family have spent years quietly building a reputation for exotic varietals and meticulously-controlled co-ferments. The kind of producer who treats fermentation like a craft and the cup like the proof. This bundle puts two of his most expressive lots side by side. Pink Phantom (Rose Tea Honey) leans floral and perfumed; Gummy Bear (Lychee Honey) leans sticky-sweet and tropical. Same Pink Bourbon variety, same hands, two very different processing journeys. Floral, fruity, candy-bright — twice over.
Pink Phantom: Rose, Turkish delight, lemonade iceblock, vanilla, mango. Floral and perfumed in a way most coffees never get close to. Gummy Bear: Lychee jelly, green grape, gummy bear sweetness, guava on the finish. Sticky and juicy — wild but somehow elegant. Both reward slow filter brewing and get sweeter as they cool.
Chapter 02 · The Ritual
Brew them both. Slowly.
Filter, slow. V60 or Orea 01 on a 1:17 ratio, water 92–93°C. Drink Pink Phantom first while it's hot for the rose and Turkish delight, then let Gummy Bear cool a touch — the guava finish opens right up. Drink black, drink slow, drink twice.
