Chapter 01 · The maker
Origami — Mino-yaki porcelain, finished by hand.
Origami is made in Mino, Gifu — a Japanese ceramic capital with over 1,300 years of pottery tradition. Each dripper is fired and glazed by hand using Mino-yaki techniques, the same craft that produces some of Japan's most prized tea ware. The 20 fluted ridges aren't decoration. They lift the paper away from the wall, opening up airflow and giving you a clean, fast extraction whether you use a V60-style cone paper or a Kalita Wave.

Why we love it
Beautiful object, brilliant cup.
It's the only dripper we know that's used by world-champion baristas and looks completely at home on a kitchen shelf. Compatible with cone or wave papers — swap between recipes without buying a new brewer.
Chapter 02 · How to brew with it
Cone or wave — brew your way.
With cone papers (V60 size 02) treat it like a fast-flowing V60. With Kalita Wave 155 papers, it's a flat-bed brewer with deep flutes for airflow. Either way: 1:16 ratio, 45-second bloom, total time around 3:00.
