This is on batch at Daydream Espresso today (Josh tells me: Moccamaster, 60g and a full carafe, a stop and a stir, sit for a minute then let it flow).
I want to know what I tasted if I hadn’t read the packet. Because it’s great and sent me on a quest to the founder to ask “what did you do to this coffee?” and then down the “what is a Lulo” rabbit hole. Fiejoa and Lulo aren’t related, so I want to know what my Kiwi palate tasted if it didn’t know what the flavour was… also, whilst it’s fermented, it’s not farm yard funk.
And the business at the top of the stairs came down looking for the smell in his office “it’s citrussy, like grapefruit”. Josh gets passionfruit, Jack can see that. What a morning.
