Chapter 01 · The Producer
Nyeri smallholders, on the volcanic slopes of Mount Kenya.
Sourced from smallholder farmers in Nyeri County, on the deep, mineral-rich volcanic soils of Mount Kenya — the kind of terroir that gives Kenyans their famous brightness and depth. Cherries are washed at the local station, fermented overnight, soaked in clean water, then dried slowly on raised beds. The result is everything we love about Kenyan washeds — jammy, jewel-toned, alive.Nyeri cooperative · Kenya
In the cup
Cherry, Ribena, apricot. Jammy, jewel-toned, unmistakably Kenyan.

II · In the Cup
Cherry up front, Ribena in the middle, apricot lifting the finish.
A jewel-box of fruit. Cherry-and-blackcurrant up front, the kind of jammy depth Kenyans are known for, finishing on stone-fruit sweetness. Bright, juicy, unmistakably from Mount Kenya.
Chapter 02 · The Ritual
Filter long. Let the jam unfold.
Best as filter — V60 or Orea at 1:16.5, water just off the boil. Kenyan washeds reward patience and clean extractions. Equally striking as a long espresso for those who like fruit-forward shots.
